National Arthritis Walk Chair
Arthritis is more than just minor aches and pains - it's the nation's number one cause of disability. It affects 70 million adults (one in three) and 300,000 children. With the prevalence of arthritis rising to epidemic proportions, your help is needed now more than ever. The Arthritis Walk is a tremendous opportunity to impact the lives of the millions of men, women and children with arthritis. Please join us in this nationwide goal to raise funds to support innovative research, educational programs and advocacy initiatives to improve the lives of people with arthritis.

Don't Tell Her It's "Just Arthritis"
When Emily was first diagnosed with arthritis at
the age of two, her parents were somewhat relieved. After all it was “just
arthritis.” Little did they know the lengthy battle they would face and the huge
impact it would have on their lives. At times, Emily’s arthritis flared so badly
that she couldn’t walk, dress herself or attend school. Without daily
medications, weekly injections, physical therapy and frequent trips to
specialists, Emily would not be able to do tasks most kids take for granted like
get on the school bus or hold a pencil. Emily is doing quite well today, thanks
to research supported in part by the Arthritis Foundation that led to the
discovery of new medications that have made a dramatic difference in her life.
This spring, Emily is walking in the Arthritis WalkSM
to help put an end to arthritis. You can help, too. Sign up today.
