Two events raised almost $90,000 towards a cure for Arthritis

This year's Art for Arthritis was a record-breaking success! Thank you to everyone that came to the H&R Block headquarters thursday evening to help raise $60,000 for research for a cure for arthritis. Our silent auction this year had more items with more bids than in years past, and our live auction of artwork made by children with arthritis was more successful than ever before. Almost $10,000 was raised for scholarships to send people with arthritis from our chapter to the upcoming national Juvenile Arthritis conference.

Walkers from all around Central Missouri gathered in Warrensburg Saturday morning to walk in support of arthritis research for a cure. About 200 walkers raised $25,000. Thank you to everyone who came out and had a good time!
