Chapter Receives National Award for Outreach

Director of Health and Exercise, Debbie Cooper, was awarded the "2007 Highest Reach Award" at the Arthritis Foundation National Staff Conference in September. Debbie led the Western Missouri/Greater Kansas City Chapter to this award by reaching the most people in their service area through Arthritis Foundation Programs.  The chapter ranked fourth nationally in terms of how many people were reached per capita via the Life Improvement Series Programs. These programs consist of AF Self-Help Programs, AF Exercise Programs, and AF Aquatic Programs. Through Debbie's leadership, the chapter reached out to 5934 people in 2007.
