2007 JA Conference a Sweet Success!

This year's National Juvenile Arthritis Conference was a "sweet success"!  The Western Missouri/Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation selected three families to send to the conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The theme of this year's conference was "Linking our lives together"; parents attended informative lectures dealing with anything from complying with medication regimens to working with school administrators, while the children attended fun and educational activities led by the CALs (Children's Activity Leaders).  While there, the families were able to meet other families who also experience the challenges of battling juvenile arthritis.  More than 1,000 adults and children from across the country attended to take part in learning and family fun.
