Join a 2009 Arthritis Walk In Your Community

Arthritis Walk, the signature event of the Arthritis Foundation, features a one-mile or three-mile (5K) course option with activities for the entire family.  Many Arthritis Walks are held in conjunction with Arthritis Awareness Month in May, however some occur in April and in the fall. Interested parties form teams and raise funds together for these events, many make it an annual tradition to participate. Teams may consist of family members, friends, co-workers, business staff or any other organization in which you are involved. With your help, we can raise funds and awareness for the many different forms of arthritis through the Arthritis Walks!  Eighty percent of funds raised support research and programs throughout the state. 

Arthritis Walks will be held in these Virginia communities: Richmond,  Charlottesville,, Fredericksburg,,  Loudoun, Northern Shenandoah Valley (Winchester), The Peninsula (Newport News),  Prince William Area,  South Hampton Roads and Williamsburg.
