Sabrina Lane

Sabrina was diagnosed with Juvenile Rhuematoid Arthritis in May of 2007. Two months before her 2nd birthday, she began limping and refusing to bear weight on her left leg. We noticed that her left knee was very swollen and warm. After several visits to her pediatrician that included x-rays and bloodwork, she was referred to pediatric rheumatologist Ruy Carrasco in Austin. She currently sees her rheumatologist once every three months, an opthalmologist once every three months and she has monthly lab work done at Darnall Army Community Hospital at Ft. Hood. Sabrina enjoys running and playing with her brother and sister, especially now that she can keep up with them! She loves the family's three cats, and she gets very excited about bubbles, baby dolls and dancing, but not necessarily in that order. She started pre-school last September and is having a great time there!
