2008 Bay Area Hero

Logan Giannoni

Prior to her second birthday, our daughter Logan was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis. She has recurrent episodes of a swollen knee, and often has a prominent limp. She has had days where she cannot walk due to pain. She is now 3, and is fearless, happy and wonderfully outgoing! Thanks to aquatic physical therapy, medication and family support, she is doing well and is enjoying an active lifestyle. Her favorite activities include dancing, singing, reading and playing with friends.
