Welcome!
The Tennessee Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation serves all 95 counties across the state and is actively working to better the lives of the 1.5 million adult Tennesseans (and an estimated 6,000 children) with this disease. In fact, 46 million adults and approximately 300,000 children nationwide, have been doctor-diagnosed with a form of arthritis. We have three area offices located in Memphis, Nashville and Knoxville. Our Chapter office is located in Nashville at Metro Center on Great Circle Road.

More story.
To submit a Mover of the Month candidate, please email lportale@arthritis.org a paragraph about why your nominee should be chosen along with a picture. A new Mover of the Month will be posted at the begining of each month.

Tennessee Arthritis Action Plan
Arthritis prevalence in Tennessee ranks among the highest in the nation. It is estimated that 1.5 million, or one of five adults in Tennessee, have some form of arthritis. The Tennessee Arthritis Action Plan (TAAP) will serve as a framework for arthritis prevention and education efforts in Tennessee. The plan reflects the need to build the systems and networks necessary to address the burden of arthritis in Tennessee.
