Youth Programs
Arthritis affects more than 300,000 children in the United States. The Southern California Chapter sponsors four children's camps that are exclusive to children with arthritis and related diseases.
- Family Camp, Lake Hughes, California
- Camp Esperanza, San Bernardino Mountains, California
- Camp Sol, Southern Nevada
- Camp Manaolana, Hawaii
These camps provide children with the first opportunity to meet others who share their experiences, and feel stronger and energized as a result. An application is currently available for those wishing to attend Camp Esperanza.
Young Adult Network: The Young Adult Network is an informal support group designed to meet the needs of young adults (aged 18 to 40 years old) with arthritis or related rheumatic diseases.
Meetings are held in Orange County, San Fernando Valley, and the LA Area, please call (323) 954-5760 ext. 243 for the most updated information.
