Life Improvement Series

Take control with the Arthritis Foundation's Land and Aquatic Exercise Programs that are proven to reduce pain and physician visits, decrease stiffness and increase function. Self-help courses and support groups are also offered.  For detailed information, you can view and download our programs list.

 

YOUTH PROGRAMS

Camp Sol

Camp Sol is a summer camp for children with arthritis and related diseases organized by the Arthritis Foundation. The purpose of camp is to provide recreational, social and educational activities to increase self-esteem and independence. For more information about Camp Sol, email lbrickner@arthritis.org.

Juvenile Arthritis Support Group

Did you know that over 1,000 children in Nevada have Juvenile Arthritis? Our monthly support group offers educational and social activities to children and their families coping with arthritis and related diseases.  For more information on our monthly support group, email lbrickner@arthritis.org.

Become an Arthritis Foundation Certified Instructor

Become a leader or instructor to plan and lead quality Arthritis Foundation classes in Aquatic Exercise,  Land Exercise, and Self-Help.

Become an Arthritis Foundation Office or Special Event Volunteer

You can help make a difference by staffing walks, galas, and other special events.

Become an Arthritis Foundation Ambassador

As an Arthritis Foundation Ambassador, you will represent our organization in various events and/or media interviews, educating and inspiring the general public by sharing your personal stories. You can help us cultivate and retain relationships with individuals interested in our mission.

Become an Arthritis Advocate

Individuals committed to influencing positive changes in their lives, their communities and in their elected governments. Become an advocate.
