Our Mission
The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
This group will provide a safe and supportive time to discuss topics like:
- How to talk to family, friends, employers about RA
- Communicating with your doctor
- Dealing with emotional aspects
- Resources
When: 2nd Tuesday of the Month, 6:00 to 7:30 pm (First support group will be in Dec)

AF Tai Chi Instructor Training: Nov. 20th-21st
The Arthritis Foundation Tai Chi Program is designed to improve the quality of life for people with arthritis using Sun style Tai Chi, one of the four major recognized styles of Tai Chi. This style includes agile steps and exercises that may improve mobility, breathing and relaxation. Become a program instructor and help change lives. Receive specialized training to deliver high-quality exercise and education programs and become affiliated with the Arthritis Foundation. Our next AF Tai Chi instructor training will be November 20th and 21st!
Dates: November 20th 9am- 5pm and November 21st 9am-5pm

Just Diagnosed RA Pilot Class
Are you newly diagnosed with RA? Would you like to participate in the one-time pilot curriculum designed to educate people with have been diagnosed with RA within the last three years? The Arthritis Foundation, Rocky Mountain Chapter invites you to attend this FREE class on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 6 p.m. at the Chapter Office, 2280 S Albion St in Denver. The class will be lead by a RA Health Educator and will provide free educational materials, patient resources and a RA Health Kit. Refreshments will be provided. In addition, all participants will receive a $50 VISA gift card for participating. Registration is required and only a limited number of participants will be seated.
