“The human contribution is the essential ingredient.  It is only in the giving of oneself to others that we truly live.”                   ~Ethel Percy Andrus

"Achieving Acceptance by Volunteering" ~ by Matthew Schwab, Pacific Northwest Chapter Volunteer

The Arthritis Foundation - Pacific Northwest Chapter is the only non-profit voluntary health agency that works on behalf of the over 2.2 million people in Alaska, Oregon and Washington to seek and find the causes, cures, preventions and treatments for over 100 different forms of arthritis.

As a non-profit organization with limited resources, the Arthritis Foundation counts on the time and energy of its volunteers; time that is invaluable to the success of the Arthritis Foundation mission which is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.

There are many ways to volunteer for the Arthritis Foundation.  Click the links below for more information on volunteer opportunities with the Pacific Northwest Chapter.
