2009 Arthritis Walk Calendar Contest Announced!

The Arthritis Walk National Volunteer Committee is excited to announce the beginning of our Arthritis Walk 2010 calendar art contest! As many of you are aware, each year we hold an art contest and ask kids with arthritis to draw an original picture for a chance to be in the Arthritis Walk calendar. After we receive all submissions, a panel of volunteers will choose a winning picture for the cover of the calendar as well as pictures for each month of the calendar. Winners of the contest will be announced at the JA conference this summer and calendars will be available for purchase at this time.

Details for this year’s calendar art contest are as follows:
Theme: “Let’s Move Together – Show us your moves”
Size: 8 ½”h x 11”w paper (standard sheet of paper)
Who: Any child living with arthritis under the age of 18 is eligible to enter.
Deadline: All entries must be postmarked by April 1, 2009 and sent to the national office to the attention of Jen Cobb. Please make sure entrants include their name, age, address, phone number, photo and bio of the artist.
