Jingle Bell Run/Walk
The Jingle Bell Run is a 5k Run/Walk held each December to support the Arthritis Foundation. The runners carry music throughout the race with jingle bells attached to their shoes, creating a festive and unique event. After the event, participants will enjoy a post-race celebration that includes food, music, and an arthritis health fair where attendees can visit. The health fair will include area Rheumatologists to learn more about arthritis, exercise, sports injury prevention, nutrition, and other Arthritis Foundation programs and services.
The Jingle Bell Run is recognized each year in local radio, television, and print promotion. Sponsors have an opportunity to reach over 10,000 local participants through advertising in the even brochure. Signage and Marketing opportunities also exist the day of the event.
All proceeds from the run benefit the Arthritis Foundation - Ohio River Valley Chapter. For more than 50 years, the Arthritis Foundation has been the only voluntary health organiztion dedicated to finding the cause and cure for arthritis, while providing programs, services, and research efforts for the 2.7 million men, women, and children in the Ohio River Valley Chapter area who suffer from arthritis and arthritis related diseases.
