Thank you for your interest in the Arthritis Foundation, New Jersey Chapter. There are over 1.6 million people in New Jersey who are affected by arthritis. The New Jersey Chapter is working very hard to educate and empower residents to understand that they can take control of their own health and wellness!
We are very active with ongoing classes, exercise programs, and special events. Explore our land based or water exercise classes, our support and education groups, or our public forums. We also have many informational pamphlets and books available, as well as a listing of physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating arthritis. Through these resources, we can provide you with both the most up-to-date information on arthritis and related diseases and with effective strategies for living better with arthritis.

Open an account at Commerce Bank and they'll make a contribution to the Arthritis Foundation. Commerce will make an annual donation based on the average balance in all members' accounts. Checking, Savings, Money Market, CD and Retirement accounts are all included in the program.
Donations are calculated at .5% on checking balances and .25% on savings balances. Members' accounts are not affected in any way by this contribution. Your account balances are used to determine the level of the donation only, and are kept confindential.
If you are already a Comerce Customer, visit any Commerce location and ask to have your balances included as a part of the Arthritis Foundation's Affinity Membership Program.
Federal law requires that all account information is kept strictly confidential. The names of Affinity Program members and account information will not be shared with anyone, including the Arthritis Foundation. The Arthritis Foundation does not share donor or volunteer names with Commerce Bank.

Marketing Talent Pool: Members Wanted!
Do you have expertise in marketing? Maybe you work in the field? Maybe you majored in marketing? We need you in our Talent Pool!
Here's Why: Arthritis is the number one cause of workplace disability. It affects more children than diabetes. It costs the US economy over 120 billion dollars per year. The majority of people with arthritis, do not see a specialist and don't know that much of the pain they suffer and the damage to their joints is preventable.
The Marketing Talent Pool for the Arthritis Foundation can change this. The Marketing Talent Pool will act as resource group to create marketing strategies and resource pool to work on specific ad hoc activities in order to build overall awareness of the Arthritis Foundation and arthritis.

Autos For Arthritis
Donate your unwanted vehicle and support the mission of the Arthritis Foundation. All types of vehicles are accepted - autos, trucks, sports utilities, motor homes, boats, airplanes, farm equipment, construction equipment - we just ask that your vehicle must be whole (no missing engines, trunks, etc).
The Arthritis Foundation New Jersey Chapter is a member of Community Health Charities of New Jersey.

The Arthritis Foundation does not refer people to specific research trials. If you are interested in participating in or learning about clinical trials, http://www.clinicaltrial.gov is a government site which not only lists legitimate clinical trials but also offers education and information about what is involved in participating in a trial.
