KIDZ ZONE

HAVE FUN WHILE BUILDING JA AWARENESS!

Arthritis Walks are family events and we want our adult and child participants to have fun while raising money to fight arthritis. To ensure that kids enjoy every minute they spend with us, the 2009 DC Arthritis Walk will feature a new fun-filled KIDZ ZONE with games and activities for children of all ages.

Did  you know that more children have arthritis than those with cystic fibrosis, muscular

dystrophy and sickle cell combined? Come learn more about juvenile arthritis (JA), the 6th

mostcommon childhood disease affecting 300,000 children nationwide (4,000 locally). 

Meet the staff, volunteers and families who make up the chapter's Juvenile Arthritis Network

and let the kids enjoy the obstacle course which makes preventing and

controlling arthritis through exercise fun!  Balloon animals, magic and face/nail painting will

be availablefor the less adventurous!
