Welcome!
Welcome to the homepage of the The Arthritis Foundation Massachusetts Chapter! We serve the entire state from Pittsfield to Cape Cod and the 1.25 million people who are affected by arthritis - nearly 5,900 chidren and one in four adults. We offer a variety of programs and events throughout the year and continue working hard to expand our reach into communities and areas that need our services.

Giving Opportunities
You can support the work of the Arthritis Foundation through gifts of cash, real estate, securities, and personal property. You can also help by contributing a planned gift. Bequests are one of the Foundation's most vital sources of income. Memorial gifts in the name of friends and relatives are a thoughtful way to honor someone special. For more information on giving opportunities, please contact Abby Murphy at 800-766-9449 Ext. 136.
Physical Activity - The Arthritis Pain Reliever
Don’t sit still for arthritis pain! Join the Massachusetts Chapter and the CDC’s Physical Fitness Campaign. Studies show that 30 minutes of moderate physical activity three or more days a week can reduce pain and help you move more easily. Now is the perfect time to get started! Go walking, swimming, bike riding, dancing, or wash the car. Contact the Information Line at 800-766-9449 Ext. 119 for more details.
Joints in Motion Marathon Training
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of nearly 300,000 children impacted by arthritis while taking part in a full or half-marathon (26.2 or 13.1-miles), or road race?
