Volunteer

We love volunteers! If you like to work with people, call us at 631-427-8272 to sign on. We tailor the hours to your schedule and give you a choice of opportunities. It is a great way to meet people and to help yourself to feel better when you have arthritis or fibromyalgia.

The Chapter has an active and rewarding volunteer program. There are almost as many ways to volunteer as there are types of arthritis (over 100). You can help in the Foundation office or at special events, train to beome a counselor or course leader, play golf, organize a walk team, serve on a committee--well, you get the idea. Call today to discuss volunteer opportunies. You can become part of the team of dedicated individuals who are helping the Foundation in its vital work.  Volunteer positions: At the Foundation Office in Melville--general office volunteers; train to become a Telephone Helpline Counselor.
