Local Celebrites to Kick-Off Jingle Bell Run

The Arthritis Foundation is kicking-off the 21st annual Jingle Bell/Run Walk for Arthritis with a Celebrity Jingle Bell Jog on Friday, November 28.
This year the Arthritis Foundation recruited local celebrities to spice up the Jingle Bell Run/Walk kick-off. The jingle of bells will fill the parking lot of New Market Square at 10:30 a.m. the Friday after Thanksgiving. Participants will run, jog, walk or crawl starting in front of Sports Authority and will cross the finish line at the New Market Square plaza.

o Miss Kansas 2008 – Emily Deaver
o Mike Iuen – KAKE
o Sammy Suarez – Channel 96.3
o Jan Harrison – 104.5 the Fox
o Bonnie Bing – The Wichita Eagle
o Mark McCormick – The Wichita Eagle
o Trace Taul – 97.1 BOB FM
o Colby Ericson – 100.5 the Wolf
o Thunder Dog & the Thunder Dance Team
In addition to the Jog the Arthritis Foundation will also be pre-registering
participants for the Jingle Bell Run/Walk between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Anyone who registers on November 28 will be eligible to win door prizes.
The Arthritis Foundation is the only nationwide, not-for-profit health organization helping people take greater control of arthritis by leading efforts to prevent, control and cure arthritis and related diseases -- the nation's most common cause of disability.
