
A team captain is the person in charge of the team's recruitment, keeping track of the team's fundraising and the overall inspiration of his or her team in reaching the team goals.
The Arthritis Walk is open to everyone, with an emphasis on team recruitment. Participants will be recruited through Corporate, Civic and Family Teams. Teams are made up of five of more people walking together in honor of someone with arthritis. Each team member is encouraged to raise a minimum of $100. Proceeds from the Arthritis Walk will support the Arthritis Foundation's mission: to improve lives through leadership in prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
A team is a good way to join people together for a great cause. As part of a team you can come up with exciting fundraising ideas, funny team names and being part of a team is a great way to build spirits, but most important you and your team will be helping the millions affected with arthritis.
