19th Annual Salute Wows and Wonders!

Salute… a benefit for Children with Arthritis, was held Saturday, October 3rd at the Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale, Arizona. This annual mission-focused event had over 350 guests in attendance, including many children with Juvenile Arthritis and their families.
This year’s event had a Super Hero theme and there were special appearances by Superman, Batman, Captain Incredible, and Wonder Woman! Their shared mission of the evening was to bring down one enemy…arthritis.
We are pleased to announce that over $150,000 in funds were raised to support our Juvenile Arthritis programs! The highlight of the evening was the auction of artwork from Artists for Arthritis, which showcased incredible pieces of art that were created by eleven children wtih juvenile arthritis.
During the program, Junior Honorary Co-Chairs Abby Dirks, Aliana Partida, and Donte Wallace were interviewed by emcee Marty Manning (KEZ 99.9) about their involvement with the Arthritis Foundation and they spoke about the fun they have at the Arthritis Foundation Camps.
