Life Improvement Series Instructor Training!
On September 11th through the 13th, the Arthritis Foundation Greater Southwest Chapter held a Life Improvement Series Training Workshop. There were 30 individuals who participated in the training for our Arthritis Foundation Exercise, Aquatic, and Self-Help classes. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful leaders in these very important adult programs.
The training was held at McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center. We want to thank the City of Scottsdale for their support and for providing such a fantastic facility for us to use.
Donna Adler, Zane Arters, and Caryl Crouch led the training. The new updates to the Aquatic and Exercise programs were well received and everyone learned a lot of new information. Participants noted, "New enhanced program is great! New use of equipment, new exercises and new water safety requirements." We appreciate all their enthusiasm and dedication to help those with arthritis move and exercise. Please look to 2010 for our next Aquatic, Exercise, and Self-Help trainings. And don't forget, Tai Chi Training will be November 13-15!
