Craig Rogers named Arthritis Foundation President
Craig Rogers of Washington, Illinois was named president of the Arthritis Foundation, Greater Illinois Chapter. He has been a longtime volunteer of the Arthritis Foundation and served most recently as the branch direction in McLean County.
Craig replaced Gary Dutro, who has grown the chapter to include branches and 26 staff members serving 92 of the 102 counties in Illinois over the last thirty years. He served on and was chair of the Arthritis Foundation's President's Advisory Council and won the President's Staff Award.

Get ready to get in the spirit this holiday season at the Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell Run / Walk for Arthritis. Be one of the thousands of runners and walkers who hit the nation's pavements, pathways and parks this winter to fightthe nation's number one cause of disability.
Juvenile Arthritis Clinic and Program
The Juvenile Arthritis Clinic provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for children with rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemiclupus erythematosus through a multi-disciplinary team approach. The team includes two Rheumatologists, an RN, a Pediatric Clinical Counselor and an Arthritis Foundation Advocate. The program aims to achieve three goals: to assist in the diagnosis and management of children, to increase awareness of rheumatic disease in children and to act as an educational resource.
The clinics held once a month on the second Thursday, by appointment only. A referral from your pediatrician or family practitioner is required. Becoming a certified Arthritis Foundation Program Leader/Instructor is a great way to help. Whether you work for a fitness or wellness facility, a local health department, medical center, community center or social service organization, you can make a difference in the life of someone with arthritis by teaching a group fitness class or a self-help course.
