The Madison-Chicago 200 Relay held on June 6th to June 7th is a trek through the Midwest. You and the other members of your 12 person team will be touring 6 counties from Madison, Wisconsin to Chicago, Illinois. Run or jog 10-19 miles broken into three segments to contribute to your team's 200 mile total through the beautiful scenery while being accompanied by volunteers that will ensure your trip is fun and most importantly, safe. Minimum due is $650 by May 9th and minimum fundraising goal is $1,300 by May 23rd.

Chicago Distance Classic Half Marathon

The 32nd Chicago Distance Classic will be held on August 10, 2008, highlighting the best scenery Chicago has to offer. The race will start and finish in Grant Park, including a run along the cool and relaxing lake front. Help this race become one of the fastest growing Chicago races by topping the 10,000 runners that participated last year. The Chicago Distance Classic is a perfect opportunity to prepare yourself for the similar flat and fast terrain of the Chicago Marathon in October. The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is the only Chicago Marathon in existence. Not only does it bring runners from all 50 states and more than 25 countries, it has the honor of being the fastest growing marathon road race in the world. The terrain is flat, making it a desirable race for World Class runners. The race will be held on October 12, 2008 and will include 26 miles of vibrant downtown scenery. There is a maximum of 45,000 participants all of which must be 16 years of age and must finish the race in less than 6 hours and 30 minutes. Minimum due is $650 by June 27th and the minimum fundraising goal is $1,300 by September 12th. Joints in Motion is one of the largest charities at this marathon. Bank of America makes sure to treat their charity runners well, with tents and other amenities such as food and massage tables.

Humpy's Marathon Marathon - Marathon Walk - Half Marathon

The Big Wild Life Run team will leave August 15th and return the 19th. This is a magnificent and breathtaking trek with plenty of walker friendly options to choose from, including a marathon, marathon walk, four-person marathon relay, half marathon and 5K. The marathon starts walkers an hour early so that they may explore safe wild life areas. The course is relatively flat and fast, starting in downtown Anchorage and proceeding next to Cook Inlet on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and then on the Chester Creek Trail through several scenic greenbelts and parks. There is a 7 hour time limit for the race. Minimum due is $2,200 by May 9th and the minimum fundraising goal is $5,000 by July 4th.

Maui Marathon and Half Marathon

The gentle thunder of footfalls rumble in the early morning darkness as nearly 2,500 runners make their way through Maui's moonlit fields of sugarcane. Slowly, the sun rises over the dormant volcano Haleakala, spreading a golden light over emerald mountains to the west. Just six miles into the Maui Marathon, the race is already living up to its well-deserved reputation as one of the world's most scenic marathons. The remaining 20 miles cinch the deal: this is a run through paradise. There is an extremely walker friendly time limit of 8 hours for the marathon. Minimum due is $2,200 by June 6th and the minimum fundraising goal is $5,000 by August 1st.

The Walt Disney Marathon and Half Marathon team will leave January 9th and return the 12th. Participate in the Walt Disney Marathon of Half Marathon and take an enchanted tour through all four Walt Disney World theme parks starting at Epcot, continuing on to the Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios and then back to Epcot for an exhilarating finish. This is a perfect chance to test your endurance while running through a pleasant dream world. Experience the magical and colorful scenery that all four beautiful parks have to offer with Joints In Motion. All runners must be 18 or older and must finish the race in 7 hours or less for the full marathon. All runners must be 14 or older and finish the race in 3.5 hours for the Half Marathon. There is a minimum due of $1,500 due on August 1st and the minimum fundraising goal is $3,800 due November 28th.
