Volunteer

We Need Your Talent and Skills to Help People with Arthritis!
Volunteers play a vital role in our efforts to accomplish our mission: to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases. Most likely, you or someone you know has arthritis. By volunteering with our Chapter, you can help us make a difference in a person's life. Come by the Chapter Office and lend a hand.
If you can spend a couple of hours a week during business hours:
• Filing
• Copying • Organizing
• Entering Data
• Working on small office projects
it would be greatly appreciated!
We also need volunteers to serve as representatives for the Chapter at health fairs throughout the state. Volunteers are critical at these events because we get the opportunity to raise awareness and build new relationships through educating and interacting with the attendees. If you are available on weekends and some weekdays to distribute information about arthritis at these events, please contact us!
Donate your time and talents to the Georgia Chapter to support the many programs, activities and events in your area such as:
The Arthritis Walk
The annual walks are a great way to show support to those with arthritis. Volunteer on the day of the event or join a committee to bring a walk to your area.
The Crystal Ball
The Crystal Ball is a black tie gala event held annually in October to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. Help us coordinate our year-round correspondence with donors and attendees. Get the details on this year's event.
It is only through the dedicated efforts of volunteers and people like you that the Arthritis Foundation can continue to provide services, outreach, and hope to people living with and affected by arthritis.
It's easy to get involved! Complete our online application; call Shari Alexander at 404 237 8771; or email her at salexander@arthritis.org.
