American Physical Therapy Association, Alabama Chapter

The Alabama Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (ALAPTA) is a statewide professional organization representing almost 790 members who are physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students. Its goal is to foster advancements in physical therapy practice, research, and education throughout Alabama. The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a nationwide professional organization, represents over 71,000 members.

SenioRx is one of the many programs within the Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging, Office of Senior Citizens Services. SenioRx Program is to assist senior citizens (ages 55 and older) with chronic medical conditions who have no prescription insurance coverage and limited financial means.
