Congressman Davis thanked for co-sponsoring the Arthritis Prevention Control and Cure Act 2007
July 9, 2008
Congressman Artur Davis spoke during the Alabama State Employees Association (ASEA) convention held in Mobile, in October. ASEA Board Member, Cherryl Criswell, who attended this convention along with 400 other state employees from across the state, was given the opportunity to publicly thank him for co-sponsoring the Arthritis Prevention Control and Cure Act 2007 (APCCA.) This bill has a “Clean Sweep” in Alabama with 100 percent Congressional support as co-sponsors. Alabama is one of only three states with this “Clean Sweep” distinction. The other two states are Rhode Island and Vermont. The APCCA which is supported by the Arthritis Foundation will help change the lives of over one million Alabamians with arthritis. Fighting arthritis is a team effort, thank you Congressman Davis for being a member of our team.
