Become an Alabama Arthritis Advocate.
Advocate for improving the lives of people with arthritis. The way to do this is through Grassroots Advocacy.
Past successes of Alabama Advocates include:
- Commemorating the installment of a statewide Fibromyalgia Awareness Day in 2008
- Celebrating a "Clean Sweep" of Alabama Senate and Representatives in the co-sponsoring of the 2008 Arthritis Prevention, Control and Cure Act.
To expand our Alabama arthritis advocacy network, we need YOU to voice opinions and build relationships with lawmakers and other officials who support our agenda.
Ways to help:
- Become an arthritis advocate by filling out this form.
- Attend the Annual Advocacy and Kids Summit held each spring
- Blog for Advocacy by becoming a member of our community forums
- Invite your local and state governing officials to your local Arthritis Foundation events so that they can learn more about arthritis and related diseases.
