The Greater Sacramento and Central Valley office of the Arthritis Foundation is working to improve the lives of more than 300,000 adults and children with arthritis and related diseases who struggle every day with this serious health epidemic. To help reduce the unacceptable pain, disability and other burdens of arthritis and related diseases, we offer information, events, advocacy activities and other vital programs and services. CALIFORNIA ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION COUNCIL ADVOCACY DAY SUMMIT: April 30 - May 1, 2013Make your voice heard in the Capitol on April 30 and May 1, 2013! This year the Arthritis Foundation - California Advocacy Summit starts with an evening reception and learning event on April 30. On May 1, there will be a guest speaker and education event in the morning, followed by face-to-face meetings with State legislators. PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAMSLife Improvement Series Take control with the Arthritis Foundation's Land and Aquatic Exercise Programs that are proven to reduce pain and physician visits, decrease stiffness and increase function. Tai-Chi, Self-help courses and support groups are also offered.
