Dr. Anthony K. Hedley Honored in AZ Center for Bone & Joint Disorders Name Change
Renamed Hedley Orthopaedic Institute continues exceptional patient care
PHOENIX – (Nov. 14, 2012) – The AZ Center for Bone & Joint Disorders has been renamed to Hedley Orthopaedic Institute effective Nov. 5, 2012. The change recognizes lead orthopaedic surgeon, Anthony K. Hedley, M.D., FRCS, and his enduring commitment to the field of joint replacement.
Dr. Hedley, known in the industry as the “doctor’s doctor,” has been involved in the design and development of hip and knee implants for 26 years. He is the principal investigator in several research projects investigating joint replacements and has received numerous awards and honors, including the Hip Society’s Otto Aufranc and John Charnley awards for his outstanding contributions to reconstructive hip surgery. In addition, Dr. Hedley has been listed in ”The Best Doctors in America” every year since its inception in 1992.
