CAMP CRUZ
Camp Cruz is a six-day/five-night sleepover camp for children between the ages of 7-16 with any form of arthritis or related disease. Camp Cruz, hosted by the Arthritis Foundation - Arizona, provides these children who normally cannot attend a regular camp the opportunity to enjoy the wonders of a traditional camp experience in a comfortable, medically-supervised environment.
Camp Cruz is offered at no cost to children with juvenile arthritis or related disease. Camp provides well-planned, safe activities that are fun and challenging. Camp Cruz often provides the first opportunity these children have to meet others who share their life experiences; consequently, they feel stronger and more energized in dealing with their own diseases' particular challenges.
In 2013 there will be two separate sessions at the same location; the traditional Camp Cruz for children ages 7-16 and a teen leadership counselor in training (CIT) session. A total of 80 campers and 20 teen leadership participants are expected this year. The sessions are divided as follows:

Session 1: June 4 - 9, 2013
Ages: 7-16
Location: Camp Civitan, Williams, AZ
Session 2: June 1 - 9, 2013
