The 2013 Humanitarian Award Gala will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Huntsville, AL. More information to come!

The 2012 Humanitarian Award Gala was held on Tuesday, May 15, at Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center.  Approximately 200 guests celebrated at this festive gala, where they enjoyed an exciting silent auction as well as live performances from the Project UP performing company and singer-songwriter Victoria Shaw.

Each year the Arthritis Foundation's Humanitarian Award Gala honors community leaders who support the Foundation's mission by promoting awareness of arthritis and related diseases.  We are pleased to announce Alan and Debra Jenkins as the recipients of the 2012 Humanitarian Award.

Funds raised through the Humanitarian Award Gala help children like Kamya and their families have better access to support and care for juvenile arthritis

Thanks to this event's attendees and sponsors, the 2012 Humanitarian Award Gala raised $64,000!  These funds were used to support the Arthritis Foundation in our mission to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases.

Our Humanitarian Award Gala is an annual event, and we look forward to honoring another Huntsville area community leader in 2013.  If you have questions or would like to get involved, please contact contact Sarah Oglesby at 256-837-5177 or soglesby@arthritis.org
