Current Activity

Virtual Summit Letter Writing Campaign

March's Ambassador activity is to participate in the Virtual Summit letter writing campaign.  Letters will be hand delivered to your member of Congress and your Senators by Advocacy Summit attendees on Tuesday, March 24th at the Advocacy Summit.  Please write a letter yourself to your Member of Congress using this template and be sure to include your full address.  Your letter will be matched up with your Senators by Arthritis Foundation staff, so you only need to send one letter.  Completed letters must be sent to advocacy@arthritis.org.  Please click here to access further instructions and the text of the letter.

The letters are about joining the Congressional Arthritis Caucus - if your member of Congress or Senators are already on the Caucus, we will change the language for you.  Please be sure to include 2 sentences about your personal experience in the body of the letter.

To complete to activity, you must have 2 of your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc. write letters.

Please be sure to report your activity in the Reporting Center by going to www.arthritis.org/report.  All you need to report is that you and 2 others (with their names) sent the letters to advocacy@arthritis.org.

Letters are due to advocacy@arthritis.org by Wednesday, March 18th!

Questions? Contact Laura Keivel at lkeivel@arthritis.org.  Thank you for your participation!

Reporting

In order for the Arthritis Foundation to reach our public policy objectives, it is critical that we monitor and track legislative activity and relationships. For this reason, and so that you may be recognized for your efforts, Ambassadors must report in their assignment activity.
