Arthritis Foundation Advocacy Summit Travel Awards cover all or part of the cost of attending the Advocacy Summit. Some Travel Awards are determined by target districts based on committees of jurisdiction in the House of Representatives and Senate, but anyone interested in attending the 2017 Advocacy Summit is welcome to apply. 

Travel Award applications are now open through this link and close on Wednesday, December 14. No late or incomplete applications will be accepted.

What is a Travel Award?

Travel Awards are given to cover all or part of the cost of the Advocacy Summit.  Travel Awards provide Advocates an opportunity to come to Washington, DC to receive advocacy training, meet face to face with their members of Congress, and connect with other Advocates.

How do I apply for a Travel Award?

You must apply online for the Travel Award. Please click here to apply and thoroughly answer each question, especially essay questions. The deadline is Wednesday, December 14, 2016 and no late or incomplete applications will be accepted.

What does a Travel Award cover? 

Travel Awards vary. Travel Awards may cover all or part of the cost of the trip to the Advocacy Summit. Please note, registration to the Advocacy Summit is free.
