April 2013 Assignments

  1. Ask your Representative's Health Legislative Assistant to attend a Congressional Briefing via email and phone call.
  2. Anticipate Action Alerts throughout the month of May for Arthritis Action Month. Add your personal story to each message. 
  3. If possible, volunteer to recruit advocates at your local Arthritis Walk. Find a walk near you by downloading the National Arthritis Walk Schedule or visiting the Arthritis Walk webpage. Learn more about serving as an advocacy volunteer in the Arthritis Walk Resource Center.

BCC: lmarkle@arthritis.org when emailing your Health Legislative Assistant. If your HLA plans to attend the briefing, notify lmarkle@arthritis.org and encourage your HLA to RSVP to Jennifer Leib at jleib@dc-crd.com or (202) 484-1100.
