Attention Medicare Beneficiaries

The Open Enrollment period for Medicare health and drug plans starts on November 15 through December 31. Now is the time to decide if your current coverage will still meet your needs in 2007. If you are satisfied with your current plan, you don’t need to re-enroll. Your coverage will continue through 2007. If you are going to make a change to your current coverage, enrolling by December 8 helps to ensure that you can get the prescriptions you need on January 1.

You can review and compare the cost, coverage and customer service of plans at www.medicare.gov. Use the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan Finder to find a plan that meets your needs. Call the plan you’re interested in for more detailed information. You also can receive help at 1-800-MEDICARE or at an event in your community.
