National Vice President Corporate Partnerships

POSITION SUMMARY (Basic purpose or primary function of job)

The National Vice President Corporate Partnerships is accountable for the strategy, asset design, pricing, sales process, revenue growth and management of corporate sales, media sales and fulfillment staff team.  The National Vice President will be charged to grow revenue from $15M in 2017 to $30M by 2023.  This individual will work directly with SVP, Revenue Strategy to integrate corporate partnerships the overall strategic vision of the revenue plan and will ensure its execution through designated staff and volunteers. This position will also have its own financial revenue goal.  The home office for this role is Atlanta, GA, however because of the nationwide responsibility for this role, the position can be remote in a major metro market with access to a major airport.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Principal responsibilities or job duties)

  1. Responsible for managing the corporate partnership, media sales and fulfillment teams.  Managing the pipeline, new and renewal sales process. 
  1. Responsible for planning, preparing, securing and selling new, renewed and expanded brand partnerships that raise significant revenue and strengthen the Arthritis Foundation brand.
  1. Establish and achieve goals for renewal and new revenue that align with organizational strategy.
  1. Organize and price organizational assets for partnership offerings, with an acceptable ROI after implementation.
  1. Ensure market offerings are best in class:  Cause Marketing, Program (mission) sponsorships, Event Series Sponsorships, Conference Sponsorships, Print and Digital Media Sales, Ease of Use
  1. Innovate and evolve programs and identify new funding opportuntieis
  1. Personally carry a portfolio and generate new revenue per year.
  1. Establish and manage staff team, KPI’s, account teams, account strategy and relationship cultivation.
  1. Oversee fulfillment of assets and impact reports for partners.
  1. Work collaboratively with market and enterprise staff on funding opportunities, lead generation, benefit delivery and resources.
  1. Create, evolve and oversee strong, holistic relationships with partners including C-suite, marketing, human resources, foundations and business development.  Engage CEO, Senior Team, and Field leadership on account teams as appropriate.
  1. Refine and upgrade policies and practices as related to corporate sponsors, advertising and sales. Stay informed on all relevant legal and policy issues.
  1. Closely monitors departmental budget and all finance & accounting matters related to donor activity.
  1. Serve on internal committees and cross-functional work teams as appropriate.
  1. Participate in industry organizations to help drive partnerships.
  1. Maintain up-to-date records and produce timely reports.
  1. Other duties as assigned by SVP Revenue Strategy.

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing business or related field;
  1. Minimum of five years’ experience in aggressive strategic growth of nationwide  corporate partnerships with a focus on: Pharmaceutical partnerships, cause marketing, national sponsorships, digital sponsorships, advertising/sales and customized client solutions that generate significant income.
  1. Possess acumen to identify, target and build new business opportunities to maximize fund raising potential. 
  1. Solid ability to recruit motivates, lead and develop a talented team of professionals.
  1. Able to build high performance teams focused on achieving revenue goals, foster an environment of collaboration, teamwork and trust.
  1. Intellectually curious and highly driven to activate innovative approaches to building income for the organizations portfolio.
  1. Ability to work under the pressure of multiple deadlines is essential.
  1. This is a sales position with revenue goal that must be achieved.
